I'm Svenja, the founder of Räuberkinder. As a mother, I place great importance on minimalist designs that are easy to combine. With Räuberkinder, I want to create clothes that grow with your child and bring joy for a long time. My favorite pieces of clothing are particularly dear to me, and I want you to enjoy your favorite items for a long time too.

Our Journey

2018 – It all started when I dug out my sewing machine after a long time and sewed privately. I showed my unique pieces on Instagram, and the response was great :)

2019 – Due to high demand, my husband Robert and I then founded a small business and sewed individual pieces on request from a small corner.

2020 – Our first own homepage went online, and we were supported by a family sewing factory in Slovakia as we were expecting our fourth child. My best friend Janina joined the family business as support and became the first employee at Räuberkinder. In customer support, she ensures that you get quick answers to all your questions.

2021 – We moved into our first own studio. We now have four sewing machines, and my mother-in-law and a friend support me with sewing.

2022 – Räuberkinder got a new homepage, a new look, and through a sublease agreement, its own showroom in Bielefeld at Siegfriedplatz. A great time! Sewing continues in our small studio and by Martina and her family in Slovakia. We have become a really good team and are very grateful for the great collaboration.

2023 – We are now focusing on the online business and becoming a GmbH (limited liability company). Erol takes over the management so that I can dedicate myself again to what I enjoy most: design, support, community activities, Instagram, and everything that makes Räuberkinder unique :)

Together at Räuberkinder, we create more than just clothing – we create a community. It fills me with joy and gratitude every single day that you are part of this wonderful journey.
