Our Räuberkinder rain jacket in smoke blue with a sea animal print is made for real adventures: puddle jumping, forest days, kindergarten routine, and every weather in between. Thanks to the typical Räuberkinder grow-along cut, it accompanies your child for an especially long time – cut loosely oversized, so it can be worn for several seasons.

Grow-along – so the jacket lasts a long time

Like all Räuberkinder jackets, our rain jacket is also deliberately designed to grow along. Loosely oversized at first, then more fitted – this way, the jacket often accompanies your child for two to three seasons. This not only saves money but also resources. Sustainability that truly makes a difference in everyday life.

Why we rely on TPU

Our rain jackets are made from a high-quality material with a TPU coating (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). TPU is a modern plastic specially developed for functional and durable children's clothing:

• Waterproof & windproof: TPU forms a reliable barrier against rain and wind – even in harsh weather.
• Soft & flexible: Unlike classic rain jacket materials, TPU remains pleasantly soft. The jacket moves with every motion without feeling stiff or rustling loudly.
• Extremely durable: TPU is tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant – ideal for children who climb, slide, and play on any surface.
• Skin-friendly & low in pollutants: TPU is free of plasticizers like PVC and is considered particularly well-tolerated – an important point for sensitive children's skin.
• Easy care & durable: Dirt can be easily wiped off, and the jackets retain their shape and function for a long time – even with frequent wear.

Material & Care

Outer: 85% Polyester / 15% Polyurethane (TPU coating)
Inner: 95% Cotton / 5% Elastane
Care: Wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, do not tumble dry. Exact care instructions can be found on the sewn-in label.

Size & Fit – grow-along cut

Our rain jacket is designed as a grow-along transitional jacket and mud jacket – loosely cut so that sweaters or fleece fit easily underneath and the jacket grows with your child over several seasons. When in doubt, we recommend the normal ready-to-wear size. A detailed size chart can be found on our size information page.

You can find the current delivery time below the price. Products available immediately can of course be exchanged. Refunds will be made via the original payment method chosen.

Items not in stock are made for you in our sewing workshop upon receipt of your order. These garments are therefore considered custom orders. In case of a return, we offer a refund exclusively in the form of a Räuberkinder voucher.
